Joseph C. Wright graduated, cum laude, from Saint Mary’s College of California. While at St. Mary’s he served as class president and played Rugby. He received his law degree from Santa Clara University Law School where he received the American Jurisprudence Award, served on the Honors Moot Court Board, and represented the Law School in a national Moot Court Competition..
Prior to joining CCO, Joe was a partner for 15 years at one of Contra Costa County’s largest firms. He has extensive experience in the representation of individuals and companies in construction litigation and product liability claims. His clients have included one of Northern California’s largest commercial contractors, an international manufacturer of building materials, and a diversified water heater manufacturer. He has represented clients in numerous jury and non-jury trials and at arbitrations. Many of Joe’s clients consult with him to obtain “litigation avoidance” advice.
Active in community affairs, Joe serves on the Board of Directors of the Freitas Foundation a private foundation which provides grants to a variety of educational and charitable organizations throughout the greater Bay Area. Joe lives with his wife and two sons in Walnut Creek.
