Maria Weydemuller
ASSOCIATE
Maria Weydemuller joined the firm as an associate in April, 2005. Prior to that she was an Americorps Attorney with the Legal Aid Society of Hawaii, Maui Office.
Ms. Weydemuller was admitted to the state Bar of California in 2004 and to the Hawaii State Bar in 2005. She is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court, Northern District of California and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit.
She graduated from Portland State University in 1999 with a B.A. and from the University of California Berkeley, Boalt Hall School of Law in 2004 with a J.D. During law school, Ms. Weydemuller was an articles editor and senior editor at the Berkeley Journal of International Law. She also served as a judicial extern for the Magistrate Judge Maria-Elena James in the U.S. District Court, Northern District of California in 2004. Ms. Weydemuller received CALI Awards for excellence in Civil Procedure and Legal Research & Writing, as well as a Witkin Award for Excellence in Criminal Law.
She is a member of the American Bar Association and the Asian American Bar Association.
Ms. Weydemuller brings to the firm her excellent writing and research skills, her diverse legal experience and her commitment to the community.
Ms. Weydemuller was born in Concord, California on February 24, 1977 and currently resides in Oakland, California.
